Scott Vaartjes is the founder, owner, and managing member of Floor Shield of SWFL, a premium polyaspartic and epoxy floor coating company serving Southwest Florida. Based in Port Charlotte, Scott built the company on a foundation of hands-on craftsmanship, honest communication, and a relentless commitment to quality.

Unlike many coating companies where you never meet the owner, Scott is personally involved in every project Floor Shield of SWFL takes on. From the initial consultation and concrete assessment to the final walkthrough, he ensures every detail meets his high standards. This owner-operated approach means you are never handed off to a random subcontractor.

Scott specializes in garage floor coatings, patio and lanai coatings, pool deck coatings, driveway resurfacing, and commercial floor coating systems. He is an authorized Floor Shield dealer, giving him access to industry-leading polyaspartic coating systems engineered specifically for Florida's demanding climate.
